Brayden Hade is a Los Angeles-based director, actor, and writer known for bold, emotionally resonant storytelling that blurs the line between theatre and cinematic experience. With a background spanning musical theatre, original works, and immersive productions, Brayden brings a fearless creative vision to every project he leads.

His directorial work has earned critical acclaim for its innovation, emotional depth, and visual sophistication. StageSceneLA praised his production of The Wedding Singer at Wisteria Theater for “making the absolute most of all its decade-specific ingredients,” calling it “a production that merits its own standing ovation.” His inventive direction of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee featured a “hilarious stunner” of a slow-motion competition sequence, while The Show Report described his RENT as “framed with such rich affection and compassion that it’s impossible not to care about them,” set against an “evocative and raw industrial landscape.”

As an actor, Brayden has appeared in a wide range of roles across musicals and immersive theatre, including Berger in Hair, Horton in Seussical, and Paul in Company. He has performed in productions such as Mamma Mia!, Titanic, Into the Woods, and starred in the original musical Sex Anyone at the Hollywood Fringe Festival (later directing the Hollywood  Run), showcasing his capacity for emotional vulnerability and magnetic stage presence.

Brayden’s work as a writer focuses on projects exploring identity, intimacy, and contemporary social narratives, with original works spanning stage and digital platforms. His portfolio includes collaborations on narrative development, devised theatre, and multimedia storytelling, often weaving humor and heart into provocative, character-driven pieces.

In addition to founding and serving as Artistic Director of TheatreSourceLA, Brayden has worked as a casting director, creative producer, and designer. His productions are praised for their immersive qualities, bold staging, and ability to balance spectacle with authentic human storytelling.

Whether directing, performing, or creating new work, Brayden Hade approaches every project with rigor, risk, and relentless artistic curiosity. He is a collaborator who elevates the room—and the work.
